Medicine and Culture Project: Home

Project Description

Prepare a presentation that demonstrates your understanding of the role of medicine and health in a specific culture.

Include information on the following aspects of the culture: 

  1. Medical practices (including specific roles) 
  2. Life expectancy
  3. Lifestyle and daily life- especially as they relate to and influence medicine and health practices:

a. Language

b. Religious beliefs

c. Traditional costumes or clothing

d. Rituals, traditions, etc. 

  
  • You must use a minimum of three sources. Only one of these sources can be a website.
  • Your presentation must have twenty slides which can also contain short two to three minute videos.
  • You must create a Works Cited page using MLA 9
