Theme Restaurant and Menu Project: Home

Overview

For this project, you will:

  • Conduct research on a theme of your choosing- 2 sources minimum, cite sources
  • Develop a concept for a restaurant based on your chosen theme
  • Create a restaurant menu that consists of at least 10 food items with descriptions
  • that reflect your theme
  • Present the restaurant and menu as a proposal to investors and customers
  • Cite ALL of the sources of your information, including recipes

Menu Criteria and Expectations

A. Find & record two recipes in 5 of these categories:

  • Appetizer
  • Salad
  • Soup
  • Sandwich (hot or cold)
  • Main course /Entrée
  • Vegetable /Side dish
  • Dessert
  • Other (doesn't fit a category, min. 3 ingredients)

B. Complete all sections of the worksheet for each menu item.

C. Create a menu using the names and descriptions you created on the worksheets.
  • Remember, your food item names and descriptions should reflect your theme! 
  • Use Lucid Press or Google Docs or Google Slides.
